Just like your car, if you don’t change the oil in your watch it can damage the delicate gears and components. Fine timepieces require care and maintenance to keep their performance strong and extend their lifespan. A well-maintained watch can last a lifetime, but one that isn't serviced will eventually fall apart.

From simple watch battery replacement for quartz watches to removal of links or general servicing for mechanical watches – which by the way has over 180 parts, - chances are your watch will need to be serviced or repaired every two to five years. Service intervals can vary by brand and model but manufactures recommend a service every two to five years to keep the timepiece in good condition.
